Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate for Guildford, Kelly-Marie Blundell, is inviting voters to meet her on North Street, Guildford (opposite the Friary Centre) tomorrow (2 May) between 11am and 1pm and on Bank Holiday Monday (4 May) between 12pm and 2pm, to tell her what sort of a society they want to live in.
Commenting on the plan, Kelly-Marie said: “I thoroughly enjoy an opportunity to meet with voters and discuss their concerns. All too often politicians speak in pre-prepared sound-bites and resort to heavily stage-managed appearances.
Instead, I want to take politics back to the people. So tomorrow and on Monday, I will be taking to a soap box opposite Guildford's Friary Centre to hear your views and what I can do to better represent you in Parliament. Please join me and I look forward to meeting you.”
