Not registered to vote yet?

Electoral registration has changed. If you aren't already registered to vote, you can do so online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.  You will need your national insurance number and date of birth! If you require a postal or proxy vote and are not sure if you are already registered under the new system, please contact Electoral Services at your local borough council, be it Guildford Borough Council on 01483 444115 or Waverley Borough Council on 01483 523116. 

Electoral registration has changed.  Most people were automatically moved to the new electoral register when the Individual Electoral Registration (IER) system was introduced last June. 
 
If you have changed your name - or moved house into or within the borough – you need to register online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote  To do so, you will need your national insurance number and date of birth. 
 
If you wish to vote, you have until 20 April 2015 to register and 5pm on 21 April 2015 to register for a postal vote.  Those previously registered to vote by post will have already been contacted by Electoral Services at Guildford Borough Council or Waverley Borough Council (as appropriate) and asked to register under the new IER system.  If you require a postal or proxy vote and are not sure if you are already registered under the new system, please contact Electoral Services at your local borough council, be it Guildford Borough Council on 01483 444115 or Waverley Borough Council on 01483 523116.  
 
Electoral Services may require extra information from you to process your registration, and it is therefore advisable to contact them as soon as possible to ensure that you can provide the information before the registration deadline. Don't lose your opportunity to vote!
