Campaigner Nicole Kale

Nicole Kale is a passionate and enthusiastic campaigner in Burpham. Nicole was born and raised in Guildford, she studied for her GCSE’s and A-levels at George Abbot school in Burpham. Since graduating from University, Nicole has returned to live in Guildford.

Nicole says, “I love my area and strongly support the protection of natural green spaces - it’s one of the things that makes Guildford such an exceptional area to live in. I don’t want to see Burpham lose its character through over-development. If elected, I would be a hardworking and honest representative for Burpham.”

Campaigner Ted Mayne

Ted Mayne has been connected with Burpham since 1952, over the past 63 years he has watched the number of houses more than double, without much improvement to infrastructure.

Ted strongly believes that the infrastructure is unable to cope with any more building projects. The traffic is increasing by two per cent annually and the local schools are full to bursting point. The environment is being destroyed and for long periods during the day there is serious traffic congestion which is getting worse.

Ted says, “If elected I will strive to put the brakes on any inappropriate developments in Burpham.”
